Why Choose Jersey Cotton for Your Bedsheet?

While there are several choices when it comes to choosing the material for your bed linen, have you considered getting a set of Jersey cotton fitted sheet? But why choose Jersey cotton for your bedsheet?

Although not as fancy as sateen or silk sheets, Jersey sheets make up for its down-to-earth element with its incredibly comfortable feel and is super comfortable to sleep in. As the name explains, Jersey cotton bedsheets are made of the very same material of your T-shirts. Going to bed and getting out of bed feels like putting on and slipping out of your T-shirt.

Jersey cotton provides warmth to the body and it also maintain body heat if you need to get out of bed during the cool weather for any reason. The material remains warm when you return to bed. But at the same time, it also keeps you cool due to the breathability of the fabric.

Jersey cotton sheets are also relatively easy to care for. Wash the sheets inside out and do not load your washing machine to the full load or mix any hard fabric in with your Jersey cotton bed linen to maintain its shape.  Although cold water is recommended for washing Jersey cotton to prevent shrinkage, it is generally acceptable to wash the sheets in warm water, in case you would like to get rid of dust mites.

You also do not need to iron your Jersey cotton bed sheets. If you want to, make sure to iron on the underside of the sheet with medium heat setting.
